A new collective book, Digital Media and Early Child Development: Theoretical and Empirical Issues, has just been published (2024). The book addresses how the use of digital media by young children can impact their development, exploring theoretical and empirical aspects of this rapidly evolving field.
Among the contributors are Professor Caroline Fitzpatrick, along with doctoral candidates Marie-Andrée Binet and Sofia Sebben, all of whom are part of the Digital Child Lab at the Université de Sherbrooke. Their research and insights enrich this volume, which is aimed at researchers, practitioners, and anyone interested in child development and the increasing role of digital media in early childhood.
