Rachelle Wakeham-Lewis
Research Coordinator, Université de Sherbrooke
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. My dissertation focused on a cognitive phenomenon known as the production effect. During my studies, I worked as a research assistant and coordinator for the NeuroFog laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Fawcett.
I have been working with Dr. Fitzpatrick as a research coordinator since September 2019. I have had the pleasure of working on the Nova Scotia Media use Study and now the upcoming Québec Preschooler Media use Study.
My research interests include the impact of screen time on children's cognitive, social, and physical development. I also have a keen interest in cognitive psychology, especially human memory.
Currently, I am primarily focused on the Québec Preschooler Media use Study, working as a research coordinator.
