I am a clinical psychologist and hold a master degree in psychology from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. I was a visiting researcher at University of Waterloo in Canada during my Master. I am an associate member of the Society for Reseach in Child Development (SRCD). I have teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as with consultation in qualitative data analysis, especially with the the use of the software NVivo. I have been currently studying child development and family relations in the context of media use and adoption in childhood, and developing empirical and intervention research and scientific dissemination iniciatives in the field.
My research interests involve studying family interactions with children and the trajectories of child development, especially in the context of digital media use and childhood adoption. My current PhD project aims to explore the relations between parental reflective functioning, child emotional regulation and problematic media use in early childhood. Currently, I am a visiting researcher at Caroline's team.
