Members of our lab actively participated in the Mother–Child Research Conference held on January 19 and 20, 2026, at the Université de Sherbrooke Cultural Centre. The event brought together researchers from diverse backgrounds with a shared goal: to foster interdisciplinary exchanges and advance knowledge in mother–child research. Nicolas Gilbert presented his work on individual and family factors associated with preschoolers’ screen use, while Marie-Andrée Binet shared findings on parental screen habits and child behavioral development. Carol Dayan Tabares Velasquez also presented her research titled “Child and family predictors of preschooler screen time trajectories.”
