Digital child lab member Honored for Study on Internet Use and Adolescent Mental Health

Gabriel Arantes Tiraboschi, postdoctoral fellow and member of the Digital Child Lab, was awarded the Prix Relève étoile – Paul-Gérin-Lajoie by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC).
His awarded article, published in Preventive Medicine Reports, highlights how adolescent internet use predicts higher generalized and social anxiety symptoms in girls, but not in boys. This distinction recognizes the excellence and impact of his research in the field of digital media and youth mental health.
